How I use Google Earth as my Bucket List and Travel Planner!

When I find some place, I may want to visit I open up Google Earth and mark the location with a teardrop. I use a color code to let me know how high on my list that specific location is. My code is:

Purple teardrop for “I really want to see this”

Green teardrop for “If I’m in the area this is worth a stop”

Light Blue teardrop for “could be something of interest”.

White teardrop for “I need more information before choose”

When I look at Google Earth it is easily choose my next vacation. I just select where the most Purple Teardrops are. This works really well if you have multiple weeks for a vacation and especially if you are retired.

Here is an example from my Google Earth. The names that are in orange are places we actually visited on our vacation.  All other colors (green and white) indicate I did not visit them Green still on my list white most likely will not bother visiting.
