The CityPass may be a good thing for you. Just make sure that you do you homework and check it out before purchasing.

If you are going to go up to the Space Needle and visit Chihuly Gardens then for sure you should checkout the CityPass. Purchasing these two attractions separately is almost as much as purchasing the CityPass. The CityPass includes Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens along with your choice of any 3 of the 4 following attractions Seattle Aquarium, Woodland Park Zoo, 1 hour Bay Cruise or Museum of Pop Culture.

Seattle like a lot of cities has a parking problem but there are a couple of great ways that issue has been made a lot less of an issue.

Parking starts between $8 and $10 for an hour and tops out between $30 and $35 for 24 hours.  There are a  few places on the internet where you can reserve parking in advance this will save you some money.    Parkopedia is one of them. When I did a test I found that Komo parking garage when reserved through Parkopedia would save me 75% of the posted rate at the garage.  Another site that will help you is Spot Hero.

Make sure to check cancellation policy for these reservation sites.

Space Needle website The Space Needle is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Seattle treasures it as a city icon. It was built for the 1962 World’s Fair. The  Exposition theme was “The Age of Space”. The tower was designed with a futuristic look. Its grand opening was held on April 21, 1962.

A 2018 renovation included multi-level, floor-to-ceiling glass viewing experiences, an upper level outdoor observation deck with open-air glass walls and Skyriser glass benches.

A great view of the Space Needle can be had from Kerry Park. Which is rated at 5th by Tripadvisor with the Space Needle rated at 10th.  It is not really large enough to be called a park. It truly has an amazing view of the Seattle skyline including the Space Needle. It is located at 250 W Highland Dr, Queen Ann Hill, Seattle.

Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition website Seattle's Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition is a monument to glass as art.  It features a major portion of Chihuly's work.

The long-term exhibition, open since 2012 and features a Glasshouse, an Exhibition Hall containing eight galleries and three drawing walls, and a lush garden that serves as the backdrop for glass sculptures made up of impossible shapes and unbelievably brilliant colors.

Seattle Underground

Underground Seattle Tour Bill Speidel started the first tours.  There is a second one now Beneath the streets .

The first time I took one of the underground tours was back when my camera was a canon and used film. It was 26 April 1980. I remember the date because it was the date of President Carters failed rescue operation. The first tour was better than the one I took in 2014 just because it covered more territory.

It is a must take tour in my book because it is fun and you learn a lot of interesting things.

These tours are not for people with mobility issues, small children or strollers. There are stairs and uneven surfaces.  If your party is all adults take one of the evening tours.  It is the history and the stories that make this wonderful entertainment.

Camlann Medieval Village   Saturdays & Sundays, May through September - rain or shine ! Noon to 5:00 PM.

The living-history museum project portraying rural England in the year 1376, is dedicated to offering the public powerful personal experiences of history, including multiple learning and performing arts opportunities, built upon research of rural communities in 14th century England, to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between those historical events and western society today.

I have mixed feeling about is this worth the trip out to it. It is different in that I do not know of another living history museum that covers this time period.

Overall I would say yes especially if you combine it with a stop at Snoqalmie Falls.  You can have a nice drive through some beautiful country.

Some site I have not personally visited but are highly rated are"

Woodland Park Zoo a highly rated award-winning zoo. Depending on where you live and your access to award winning zoos you may want to take this in.  Living in San Diego as long as I have, I do not normally visit other zoos.

Seattle Aquarium  This is a small aquarium as far as aquariums go it should only take around 3 hours for a complete visit.  I personally like aquariums and given the opportunity I will go to them.  I have not had the opportunity to go to this aquarium, however. The touch pools are great but the rest of the aquarium gets mixed reviews.

Museum of Pop Culture
Culture like the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit this is in the same area of the Space Needle. They have standing exhibits as well as traveling ones.  You will want to check out their website for more information. I did not allow time on my vacation to visit this museum.

The Museum of Flight It contains mostly commercial aircraft.  It is the largest independent non-profits air and space museum in the world. This is on my list but I did not have a chance to visit it.

Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing tour This is A Boeing center. The main attraction is the Boeing Tour.  This tour provides you with an opportunity to view 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliners on the assembly line before they depart to begin service. The Factory Tour is 90 minutes inside a working assembly plant, which can be noisy and active depending on the day and time.
