Olympic Peninsula waterfalls

On this vacation my wife and I based ourselves at the Sequim Elks Lodge while we toured around the area for a few weeks.  We both enjoy waterfalls and there are some really wonderful ones on the Peninsula.

The Peninsula is also a great place to hike. Unfortunately for us we were too unsteady on our feet to do much of that anymore.

As I have said previously, If you have an RV and do not belong to the Elks Lodge you are making a big mistake. We planned on going to Vancouver Island for a week and made arrangements to leave the RV in the Elks Lodge parking lot.

Site that provide good information on the waterfalls. The first two are commercial site that offer good information. Being commercial sites they are selling something and will be pushing you towards they sponsors but the information provided is good. The third one is from the Visitors Bureau.

Few of the many waterfalls Olympic Peninsula

These are some beautiful waterfalls and are easy enough to walk to them:

  • Madison Creek Falls - Easy trail to the falls
  • Marymere Falls - There was a lot of wild life along the trail to this falls.
  • Rocky Brook Falls - A wonderful walk to get to the falls.
  • Soleduck Falls - Vary nice walk and a good view when you get there.
  • Salmon Cascade - Lots of Salmon were jumping but I sent 45 minutes trying to get a picture of a jumping salmon and this is all I have.

If the salmon are running you will want to visit Salmon Cascades and watch them jump the falls.
